Carew Excited By Run In

John Carew is looking forward to the derby against Blues and our end of season run in as we battle for 4th place.

Speaking on the Official Site The Hulk admitted he was looking forward to our remaining battles after helping the team put themselves back in with a shout of a Champions League place following our win at Hull.

He explained that the match was never going to be easy, but he thought we dominated proceedings and were worthy winners.

'We are right in there and we have the chance to win all the remaining games.'

Carew was also full of praise for team mate Mr Agbonlahor after he bagged his 16th goal of the season and drew himself level with Carew.

'It was a beautiful goal and it was a difficult angle so I am happy for him. In the end it was a great evening.'

Carew has certainly looked a little more up for it lately and no doubt the lack of cold weather could've helped, but on his day or even on his moment he's capable of making the difference.

We just have to hope he'll be up for it in the remaining games. A full cylinder Carew could easily see us win all of the remaining games, I doubt anyone would argue with that.

Our problem as ever happens if Carew doesn't turn up, and other members of the team don't either.

Or we just need to play a bit better in 2 or 3 games a season, either one will do
