Villa Man Of The Match v Portsmouth

Vital Villa asked for our usual win / lose / draw predictions before the Portsmouth game. Well, it would be of little use to ask the question after the game really would it?!

70% were right, they had faith and said we'd win.

That left 19% predicting a draw and 10% a loss.

And what about the man of the match I hear you collectively cry. Well, hang on a minute and I'll tell you.

Oh this is getting sooo boring ;o))

James Milner won with 3% of the vote

Ashley Young was next up with 19%

Agbonlahor 2%
Sub: Heskey 2%
Cuellar 2%
Dunne 2%
Petrov 2%

I'll do a summary of all the man of the match votes at the end of the season, that'll be something for you all to look forward to I'm sure! ;o)

Actually Jonathan, that would be quite interesting if you do have the time to provide that information, and I'm certain I'm not the only one who'd have that view. As for the Pompey game, well once again you cant argue against Milly dominating the vote. Another impressive performance from him. Always looking for the ball, always comfortable when in possession, and always the most likely Villan to create something out of nothing. He's enjoyed a tremendous season, no doubt about that. Ashley too had a good afternoon, as I think did Stewart Downing, who I've really started to rate. While I believe the best of him is still to come, the way he battled back from that nasty injury to play so many games this season, is a credit to his determination and attitude.

Surely Friedel should be our MOM? I know we certainly were far from backs-to-the-wall, but he did make some great stops
