Eric Lichaj To Stay With Orient

Right back Eric Lichaj (of Peace Cup fame) has had his one month loan with Leyton Orient extended until May 8.

Lichaj as many will know had a relatively successful loan spell with Chris Sutton's Lincoln City earlier in the season, making 6 appearances and achieving a straight red card.

His experience at Orient has been slightly different, he has again made 6 appearances but scored his first ever league goal in their last match against Stockport County.

His reaction after the match can be seen on Orient's Official Site.

In the Peace Cup he certainly looked a raw defender who wasn't afraid of getting his shorts dirty, which probably explains why during his short 12 games at Lincoln and Orient he's clocked up I believe 3 yellows and 1 straight red. But it seems he's getting high praise indeed for his performances and effort, so who knows what the future holds.

He does only have a season and a bit remaining on his current B6 contract so I suspect we'll all know his future come the summer.
