Delph Suffers 'Serious Knee Injury' In Training

Some were asking yesterday why Fabian Delph hadn't even made the bench in the win over Portsmouth.

The club have announced the 20-year-old summer arrival from Leeds has picked up what they have called a 'serious knee injury' during training.

Delph

Scans have been taken and results will be known in the next day or so.

I'm not surprise the way he turns , only needs his studs to stick and bang. Shame looks a good lad and should have been given more playing time

Wish him all the best - interesting that this is what MON was worried about a few weeks ago and may be one of the reasons - the risk of serious injury because of how he opens his body up - that has led to him getting less time on the pitch. Hope he recovers soon and learns the lesson quickly - assuming that the injury is linked to the previous concerns.
