Lawro Says Villa Win - Mystic Mug Goes For Draw

Lawro Says Villa Win - Mystic Mug Goes For Draw

BBC pundit Lawro says that Villa will beat Portsmouth 2-0 on the road, well, on the Fratton Park pitch, but you get my drift.

The de-mustached one said: 'Portsmouth's goalless draw against Wigan in midweek was a really good result. I don't think many would have been surprised to pick up the paper the next morning to find the Latics had won 4-0. What did Pompey have to play for? They'd just beaten Spurs in the FA semi-finals and already knew they were relegated. However, I think it will be a case of after the Lord Mayor's show this weekend. Villa are quick and very strong on the counter-attack, and I'm not sure Pompey will be able to deal with that.'

Mystic Mug says 1-1 and will say no more, his balls are needing a better polish apparently.

Villa boss Martin O'Neill says: 'The match against Everton was probably a game we had to win to give ourselves a chance - or at least allow us one slip-up along the way. Now there's no room for maneuver.
We've really just got to go now and win the games. We've just got to go and do it. Winning five on the trot is going to be extremely difficult but I still believe it's worth going for.' MON's preview: Click Here

I'm with that wise old sage Mystic Mug on this one. One apiece looks just about right to me. Should be a great atmosphere what with Pompey returning home after clinching their Wembley F.A. Cup Final place. Whereas it could so easily have been a wake following their confirmed relegation into the Championship, the old place should really be rocking on Sunday. We cant score goals, so a low scoring draw looks very much on the cards.

hello, it's me, p.villa, i have something to tell you all. i've been secretly kerb crawling the vital spurs section. after a while i found myself questioning my loyalties to aston villa, and wondered why i spent so much time over there. then after digging deeper than tiger, i had a good look at myself, and i have finally taken the first step, and admit to you all. I LOVE SPURS. now i know it's hard to take, and i know you'll be surprised, after all, my comments to spurs fans weren't very intelectual or intelligent, but my therapist told me i was in denial. But no longer, i have made the first step by changing my name, and i am now off to where i feel i rightfully belong, with the spurs faithfull. adios amigos
