Strong Reserve Team To Face Stoke

Strong Reserve Team To Face Stoke

The second string entertain Stoke at Villa Park tonight, and see the return of Reo-Coker, Bouma, and Harewood to action as they bid to remain unbeaten this season.

Villa were held 0-0 by a strong Stoke team last time round, so revenge will be ours tonight and the lads will no doubt be looking to go out in the final two on a high after already securing the league title for a 3rd consecutive time.

Kick off is at 7pm and the team shall be:

Marshall, Roome, Bouma, Clark, O'Halloran, Hogg, Bradley, Reo-Coker, Hofbauer, Forrester, Harewood.

Subs: Albrighton, Bevan, Weimann, Collins

Stoke - Parton; Hedley, Cohen, MacDonald, Wint, Mitchell, Lund, Connor, Nicholls, Urwin, Moult.

Subs: Jackson, Alexander, Foster.

ps any fans wishing a team sheet from the behind closed doors match against Fulham earlier this week can request one from the Trinity Road Reception prior to the match.

Very good to see the return of our long term injury lads, good luck to them. No Curtis Davies, I would have thought that he needed some serious playing time. Obviously not. I want to see Curtis back in the groove, fully fit and raring. I rate him highly, and can only hope that he isn't being edged out of Villa Park.
