Clark's Challenge To Second String

Ciaran Clark has challenged his second string team mates to really take the league in style and remain unbeaten for the remaining two games.

Speaking on the Official Site after the bubbly had stopped flowing Clark wants to end the final two games with victories, hence unbeaten all season, before taking on either Man U or Liverpool in the National play off in May.

'All the boys are delighted at winning the league, it's what we wanted to do.'

No reason why they wouldn't want to do it, they've done it for the past three seasons now!

'It is always great to win games, we drew a few we should've won but Kev says if you don't win games, don't lose them. We want to go on now unbeaten until the end of the season and we've got two games to go.'

Clark is also relishing the chance for a bit of revenge if we face off against Liverpool who beat us at the play off stage two years ago, but would be equally happy with a trip to Old Trafford.

'It would be nice to go back to Liverpool, but then it would be nice to play at Old Trafford.'

Either way he doubts the lads will be fazed by the experience, and they have the added benefit that most of the team know both the joy and disappointment of the play off, and will surely be out for more joy.
