Delboy Dreaming Of A Wembley Appearance

Nathan Delfouneso is dreaming that Martin O'Neill will give him some pitch time this weekend as we take on Chelsea in the FA Cup Semi.

Speaking on the Official Site with only a few days to go until we wreck revenge on Chelsea after our last encounter, Delboy is again trying to subliminally convince Monny to bring him onto the pitch and not Carew/Heskey on 70 minutes depending only on who happened to start.

'It would be a great achievement for me to be involved and to get on the pitch aswell.'

Delboy obviously was an unused sub in our last appearance against Man U and he's already spoken about dreaming of getting on the hallowed turf as a kid, so it's no surprise to see him talking about being pleased to be part of the 'experience' but hopeful he'll be able to play a part this time.

Especially as he played a small part in the aforementioned Chelsea game that gives rise to the need for revenge.

'That sort of result is something you really want to try and forget about but it might give us a bit more incentive to go out there and put it right.'

And put it right we will, I have no doubts we'll give a better showing and there's no way on God's Green Earth we'll be tonked by 7.

But whatever happens this weekend it is again a learning curve for many of the players and it should stand them well in the future.
