FA Cup Win - 4th - England To Win WC. Which One?

FA Cup Win - 4th - England To Win WC. Which One?

We have an interesting new poll, suggested by Matt777, just gone live.

Put simply, he wanted to know, (in best Highlander voice...) THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE...

Villa to win the FA Cup, Villa to finish 4th or England to win the World Cup?

Easy one for me, FA Cup... 1957 was the last, that is far too long a wait. I want to see our boys lift it in my lifetime and when they do, I'll cry like a baby! What say you, which is your preferred 'win' ?

Agree club first. But 4th first - as it could be more of an attraction for the better players we need.

FA Cup any day for me, that is THE cup in world club football. 4th, yes, will bring players but also stretch us and does pose finance problems to compete once in it. agree pompeyrug kind sir and lets face it, you guys know how it feels in very recent times!

As soon as i pressed enter I had regrets. Winning the F.A Cup would be massive but another WC for England........ i'm back on the fence.

F.A. Cup for me, would definitely prefer the silverware over a fourth place finish. Villa will always come ahead of England, so success for the national team doesn't even enter the equation.
