Villa Away To Bolton Predictions +++

Right result, wrong score line last week for Lawro. He said Chelsea would win but can't be blamed for saying 2-0 not the reality of 7-1 !

This week he says 1-1 between Bolton and Aston Villa.

The BBC pundit says:

'We are all waiting to see how Aston Villa will react after their 7-1 thrashing by Chelsea. Manager Martin O'Neill said he had never seen them play so badly. Their response will gauge how good they are as a team, because the top sides come straight back after a defeat (a mauling in this case) and win their next match.

Bolton are slowly but surely getting used to manager Owen Coyle's methods and the way he wants them to play. Even in the loss to Man Utd they created a lot of chances. It will be interesting to see the outcome of this one as both managers will be looking for a reaction from their team after heavy defeats.'

Mystic Mug is baffled and says after last week he'd love to see the boys bounce back but is predicting a horrible hard fought draw. His polished ball says a loss is not acceptable!

A win....One nil, off somebody's arse...not bothered...but it must be a win.

Always a tough, closely fought affair up at their place. Been that way in fact since the Burnden Park days, and our get togethers with The Great Lever End lads. See no reason why tomorrows encounter should be any different. I'm going for a Villa victory, but I'm not overly confident, and my prediction is made more with the claret and blue heart, than with the head. Be interesting to see how this weeks 'diversions' have effected MON and the lads. Obviously I'm hoping for a positive response, but Wanderers have a heavy home defeat on their minds too, and they'll want to get that out of their system. 3-2 to us, and fingers crossed we dont pick up anymore niggly injuries, as we begin the build up to next weeks so important F.A. Cup semi-final meeting with that Chelsea shower, a game that could not just define our season, but more importantly, the next few seasons.
