Hogwash! MON Has NOT Handed In His Notice
This will be brief....!
There is a rumour doing the rounds that Martin O'Neill gave his notice to quit in last Friday(BEFORE the Chelsea game)
I can confirm he didn't.
I can also confirm before anyone reads between the lines of the above in brackets, he didn't give his notice in after the game either.
The internet is a great place but it only takes one poster to put a rumour up for it to all of a sudden spread and become 'true'.
This one isn't true, not in any way shape or form.
However the rumour that I have quit as Brad Pitt's body double is true. Reason? He has let himself go a bit and I'm not prepared to do the same.

For what reason would he even think about jacking it in?
Maybe at the end of the season if we win nothing and he has decided he is tired of the challenge but not when the season is kicking in to a crucial period.
If you watch him on the touchline you cant really say these are the actions of a man who has lost his appetite for the game...if anything he needs to calm down a bit and take in the game, it may help him think a bit clearer when making substitutions and tactical decisions.

agree WH, the timing alone makes it a non story, end of season is the time for this sort of thing, not when you are moving towards a semi final etc. 4-5 years seems to be the time frame for a lot of managers, so who knows, one day things might change but this was just a non story which then started to get blown up as 'true'. It isn't, simple as that really!

Bent or Jones when this season is over. Benayoun and Van Bommell please - Bayner Munich will implode when this season is over. We have every chance of getting VB. Please add to that the departure of Heskey (he needs to add goals)and Salifou (feel sorry for Salifou to be honest). We simply have played more games than all the other fourth place contenders if I'm not mistaken. I still dream of 4th but 5th/6th is realistic. We must buy FAST. Replacement for the quality but tired Petrov - a replacement for Heskey - end of. Should've got Beattie in for a couple £m in the transfer window....look back, i did suggest it and am not jumping on the gloom bandwagon. The next transfer window or two will make or break MoN.

Koolbill, i agree that this summer and next season will be the making of MON and Villa. Signings to Strengthen are a must and quality at that. We have youth and English, now for some Euro class players to bring on our "quality" passing game..........cough!
