Villa - Pay This Weeks Wages To Acorns

Just a very brief and measured suggestion.

According to one of our posters (The Real Neil) and his stats book, this is our worst defeat since 1964 when we lost 7-0 to Manchester United.

Ok, to the players and management staff.

You did that, now make reparation.

Pay this weeks wages - which by that stat I think it is fair to say you've not earnt - to Acorns.

Every man Jack of you.

That would go some way to show the fans you are sorry for the abjectly disgusting display and show some real decency and understanding, especially to those faithful fans who put so much of their time and effort (not to mention the rip off prices at Stamford Bridge) to cheer you on from start to finish.

Fair comment as far as I can see. Would be surprised to see this polite suggestion slated but then, I've been wrong before!

Worst scoreline in 46 Years then? A very reasonable suggestion Mr Fear. It might, just might, demonstrate that the players understand the seriousness of the result and the non-performance.

It might have been a case of the players being out on their feet today.(I don't understand how we seem to be the only team who gets tired in March)

for sure something for those loyal fans who sang from start to finish but I'd like to see manager, coaches and players make this sort of gesture so they understand fully and show they understand fully AND lets face it, it would be the only positive that could possibly be taken from today.

Could we donate Mr O'Neil to Acorns?

I love the sentiment but then it`s spun as a positive, keep this in their minds and donate all future win bonus to the charity as an apology for this debacle.

48 that cost me. Won't be spending that again this season I'm afraid. I just can't afford/justify it.

I wont say a word about this result, because we have to play them in a couple of weeks :-) it seems from the reports that it was a mixture of Chelsea brilliance and Villa capitulation. which was the main cause?

Oh Dear ;-) Without wishing to start a fight, do you think this is the end of your CL hopes? Not suggesting we will do it, but in a 4 hourse race are you fading?

If you mean riding in the opposite direction is fading, then yes

I'd say so Ox, think the two home draws cost us the race really but goal difference today won't help one bit either.

Yup, 4th is over for us. Shame. We got Luke back at RB today, Sidders fought well in the middle, The Fonz had another run out but still we'll never be happy will we! I thought at 2-1 we could win this. Congrats to the VERY vocal Villa fans at the Shed End, quality support for the boys and MON even if they didn't deserve it today - especially at the end - stunning stuff!!! Still lots of points and the FA Cup to play for - UTV! (p.s. If the blonde in the Upper Shed reads this, singing "Where's yer mommy gone"? at Fat Frank was poor showing luv, if someone started up at Luke Young singing ***** like that and we got wind of it there would be blood on the streets of Chelsea tonight - get a life, dear!).
