Lowry Set For Leeds Return

Shane Lowry will return to Leeds Utd on loan until the end of the season.

His early spell with Fabian Delph's former club was cut short owing to a knee injury, but now the player has fully recovered they are looking forward to having him back to play his part in their League One promotion chase.

Lowry initially joined Leeds back in January, playing in 6 league games and featuring in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Be interesting to see how he does in his second spell given he's another of our well rated youngsters.

He was awful if I'm being honest in his initial loan deal.

Very surprised to read your observation dazza71. I've always rated him highly, certainly very impressive at reserve and youth team level. Maybe he needs time to adjust to his new surroundings etc, and of course to playing first team first division football? Hope he steps up to the plate for Leeds United, he's certainly thought very well of by MON and co.

I thought he was solid but unspectacular, but we've been playing him at Left Back
