Surprised this hasn't had more comment, thought it a good talking point myself! A brief journey into the site archives to find the Villa Forward document, great to see how much has been done! Article: Archives: Villa Forward Document

The weekend may be over but.... Steve Wade: Oatcakes and a meat pie - gravy to come. Four points out of six, away from home, is not what they call championship-form these days, when the top teams are more or less expected to win every game, but it is a decent haul for a team like Villa who still await the signing of a Rooney, a Torres, or a Drogba. Fieldy: Martin O'Neill believes that Ashley Young is the in form wing wizard in the Premiership at the moment, and not just for his attacking play. Speaking on the Official Site following our 2-2 derby draw against Wolves, O'Neill was full of praise for Young who seems to be getting back to his 'best' in terms of whipping in crosses and giving the strikers something to really feed off. I thought his delivery was terrific. There must have been at least eight or nine really dangerous balls that he put in there. It was fantastic.' Lot going on at Villa Park right now, as we approach the business end of the campaign. Good win tomorrow night will get us well and truly back on track, well any sort of win really, I'll take 1-0 and a scrappy game. Good to read MON praising Ash, who is certainly returning to his tip-top form. If only we'd got that penalty box predator to get on the end of those crosses he (and Stewart Downing) zip in.
