Villa v Wolves Man Of The Match

Villa Villa in a poll by Fieldy, under the alias 'whoops, that went a little wrong' asked for your Wolves man of the match.

It was a two horse race between Ashley Young and John Carew. For a while it looked close, but then Ash won out by a handsome margin!

So:

Ashley Young won out with 54%. Lets have that performance again v Sunderland and then Chelsea you little beauty! lol

John Carew - apparently he is bigger than me and you and on the evidence of that performance, that might just be right, got 27%

Surprised that James Collins didn't pick up more votes. I thought that he had a decent afternoon. Would definitely agree with the selection of Ashley Young as our star performer, he certainly grabbed the opportunity to impress the watching Fabio Capello. On the subject of the England team manager, how he must wish that Big John Carew was an Englishman. When interested and on form, BIG JC is the type of centre-forward that Fabio is crying out for, to lead the nation's assault on the World Cup this coming June. Hopefully our Man Of The Match on Wednesday evening against Sunderland is Luke Young. That will mean that he is once again firmly back in the reckoning, after his unbelievable absence from the starting line up in recent weeks.

Total rubbish my friends! The obvious man of the match was a toss up between David Jones or Jody Craddock!!

The Monkee or the aging artist? Funny choice to receive our votes astraltrader. If you're going to insist upon a wolf to receive the plaudits, look no further than Kevin Doyle, surely?
