Update in battle for 4th

Last one: Villa's Battle For 4th Place - Update 2

The verdict - rocked, but not mortal!

Statsmaster back. and here we are another point gained, or is it two points lost?

We are now lying only 2 points behind where we were at this stage last season, and yet the season has taken on a completely different complexion.

Now, there's a host of clubs vying for that much-vaunted 4th spot, and I can guarantee we are still hanging in there!

Now then, how does our end-of-season league table look?

Like this:

4th - Tottenham 67pts
5th - Man City 67pts
6th - Villa 66pts
7th - Liverpool 64pts

HOWEVER.. Don't lose heart Villans.. I have us down to pick up only 1 point over the next 2 games against Sunderland and Chelsea, so should we beat Sunderland at Villa Park, or even get anything from Chelsea at The Bridge, with our reasonable run-in, we still have a good chance.

Let's hope after Wednesday, we are all 'delighted' with the game

So what do you think? Can we beat Sunderland at home? Will we get anything from Chelsea? Also, if I offered you 1 win against Chelsea and 1 loss, would you take the win in the league, or in the FA cup?

Answers on a postcard :o)

I'd be happy to lose to Chelsea in the League if it meant beating them in the FA Cup.

would love the FA Cup over and above anything else. What a dream, so close as well!

I think Liverpoo are out of 4th now and Spuds and Citeh have difficult run ins, as long as we don't mess up again I still think we can do it. we need to win weds and get the momentum back.
