I think Liverpoo are out of 4th now and Spuds and Citeh have difficult run ins, as long as we don't mess up again I still think we can do it. we need to win weds and get the momentum back.

We wont get fourth now i have to see it realisticly, spurs i can guarantee wont get fourth id put everything i own on it! City are looking most likely at the moment. We have a good chance against chelsea in the semis and i fancy us against any of the other teaams in the final. Next year also im thinking we should stick with 442 and play James milner in gerrards role he plays for england but on the right, he will be on the right side of midfield but act also as a central midfielder its confusing yes but he should play that gerrard role he does for england, this will move downing to the bench and we can get a new attacking central midfielder, someone like hamsik if we can get him or stephen ireland who isnt really in contention at city at the moment.

Ox Yid why do we care what you think u chav. Go on your spurs page with all your other little chavs and keep dreaming about that top 4 spot. Your gonna lose 9 points to arsenal, chelsea n utd and drop 2 or 3 to city so keep dreaming.

I just cannot see why you believe Spurs will not finish 4th. Do you want Man. City to buy there way to the 4th place with all their money, Also if Liverpool get 4th it will be the same old 4 at the top which is a bad thing. Most people think if Liverpool do not make 4th Gerrard, Torres and others will leave the club and set them back years. Finally, I have to say if Spurs do not make 4th I hope Villa get it, not Man. City or Liverpool.

Its not the fact who id like to get the champions league spot because i want neither spurs or city but i no for a fact that spurs wont get it and city or liverpool have a better chance but i think we have a better chance than liverpool. Spurs fixtures are too hard and i no you will drop alot of points and probably more than most of us other contenders. Personally everyone has there opinion and 4 of us still can get top 4 but i cant see you getting it or us or liverpool really so i think its citys to lose and they cant probably represent england the best at the champions league with the money they have.

What's all this, 'Do you want Man. City to buy there way to the 4th place with all their money?' Strewth, I hardly think either Spurs or Villa can cast any stones in that department. Yeah, Citeh spent big in one window... but Villa have consistently spent big for the past 3 seasons and Spurs only curtailed their spending from last year. As fans of Villa and Spurs, does anyone really think we would go into the Champions' League with the squads we have? I would hope not as we'd get shown up by teams that are there year in, year out. I think the things that worries us is that Citeh are the only team that have the resources to stay there and challenge for the league.

Rawlie, I think you are wrong writing Villa and Spurs off too quickly, with regard to size of squads for CL football. I cannot speak for Villa but I believe Spurs are only 2 or 3 quality players short of a good squad, Spurs have played without Lennon, Woodgate, Bentley, Modric, etc. for a number of months and have carried on, not once this season have they Spurs played their strongest side. The problem that Villa and Spurs have is the chicken and egg situation, To get CL football you have to have the best players, but to attract the best players you have to play CL football. So if Villa or Spurs do get to 4th place and get CL football the quality players may come to their teams. If Villa or Spurs can get this it would be good for football, As I said before it is not good the so called big 4 playing in the CL every season and my problem with Citeh is they are playing silly money both for players and in wages to buy success, Yes Villa and Spurs have paid big money for the odd player, they have paid well over the odds for players like Lescott, Toure, Adebayer, etc. who would find it hard to get into both Villa or Spurs best sides. A test for you, How many Citeh players would get into the Villa side? Given for Friedel, I would not have thought so, Lescott & Toure for Dunne & Collins, No way, The list goes on, You know your team better than me, but only maybe one or two. I could not see many Citeh players getting into the best Spurs XI. Best wishes.

For the sanity of football it would be better if Villa or Spurs take 4th. What Yid said is bang on, Liverpool take it and its same old same old, the top 4 taking the lions share of revenue and using it to stretch even further away, City take it and its virtually the same thing happening only with added implications for transfer fees and wages as they've proved even without CL money. Tottenham and Villa have spent big yes, but over a longer period and haven't fallen into a wage structure that makes your ears bleed. If one of these two take that place, its proof that graft and sound business (in the most part) can achieve a place at the top table, one that has been reserved by europes richest teams who out-bid, out-pay and out-market the rest to keep the cycle going. How long do you think Villa will keep Milner if he keeps improving and you dont get a CL place?....for the sanity of football i hope Villa get it if Tottenham dont.
