Villa v Wolves Build Up And Predictions
Lawro, who missed a prediction for our Wigan game how dare he, has said we'll beat Wolves 2-1.
The BBC pundit said:
'I thought the extra games from the Carling Cup and FA Cup might start to affect Villa as happened last year, but they've got the scent of fourth place in their nostrils, have a stronger squad this time, and Martin O'Neill can change things around a bit if he wants.
It was a really good away win at Burnley for Wolves but I don't see them getting anything here. I think they will be OK this season though, they just seem to be able to nick a win when they really need to and I think they will do just enough to stay up.'

is going for a 2-0 win for Villa, not going to argue with the man with glass balls.
Martin O'Neill says: 'We have got to try to force it. I expected Tuesday’s game to be open and it was. Now we are going to go in with a similar approach against Wolves. We’re at home, we’ve got to try to get on the front foot quickly and force the pace and try to create openings. That’s our job. If last Friday night before we played Stoke you had offered me four points from the two away games that would have been fantastic.'
Mick McCarthy says: 'We have had good performances away from home and that doesn't faze me at all. I don't fear going to Villa or West Ham in the game after that. I think with the way we are playing we are capable of getting something anywhere as our away form is pretty good.'

if we get this fixture and sunderland out the way with 6 points, i'll be a very happy man. both beatable teams, but this season has been a shocker. my prediction is aston villa 3 - 1 wolves. wolves having taken the lead early on from a corner tapped in by doyle. the claret and blue goals coming from james collins, the other james (I know I should have done that the other way round), and big john.

The only guy whose predictions I trust, in fact I swerar by, is the one, the only (forget Mystic Mug, and that other mug) Mr Glensider. What do you say glensider, impart your words of wisdom. Oh, right, I say 1-0 to Mart's Magnificent Claret and Blue Army, and with Tottenham getting beat or only drawing at The Britannia Stadium, Manchester City having a lot on their plate at Craven Cottage, and Liverpool losing at Old Trafford, its going to be a great weekend for us Villans. Have a super weekend fellow Vital Villans, no matter what you plan to get up to. One more thing, lets create a superb and hostile atmosphere at Brummagem B6 tomorrow. It'll be close, nervy at times, the men from the Molinuex will battle all the way, but we'll emerge victorious when the ref toots on that little whistle of his.

Same starting X1 for me but keep Hesk on the bench and bring Delboy and Delph on as subs later in the game to freshen things up. Sidders can stay in the dugout too! My prediction is 2-0 and the goals are from Carew and a late goal from.............Delboy to raptures from the Holte!

If martin really wants to force the issue, why the hell are we using carlos at right back.I can see the sense away from home when we're under the cosh but luke young is quality going forward. We've got to attack and win these two games.
