OK, our new poll and topic of the day is which central defensive partnership do you prefer?

The options have been kept limited because it seems obvious, for now anyway, that there are only three choices that Martin O'Neill looks to. Whether Curtis Davies will start to push for contention also remains to be seen.

I honestly believe this is a 'no-brainer'. Its got to be Dunne and Carlos in the middle, allowing us to play a 'RIGHTBACK' at Rightback.

Doesn't matter who partners Dunne for me, as long as Luke Young gets back in the team.

Dunne and Davies will be an excellent partnership!! I think unfortunatly that he will not wait about!! I honestly think he is an excellent player who will only improve!!

right back at right back is a bit of a radical way out theory there AV-Damo! lol Do agree Luke Young is a top left back and should be in the team.

Maybe we have to add what position each player plays onto the back of each jersey along with their names to help MON work out who should play right back. Like Milner will have midlfield, dunne would have centre back, luke young right back, heskey water boy... Would solve a number of our problems! :P
