Vital Villa Archives - Part 1

Vital Villa archives!

I might do a regular look at the archives to remind us of where we were and where we are at now, on the other hand... I might not!

Anyway, I thought I'd show you our very first article. Can't believe I didn't do an article heralding the arrival of Vital Villa (formerly holteenders.co.uk) but there you go!

Our very first article: First Signing Done

And our first Villa Times on the then all new network. The thought for the day was 'It isn't flying you want to be afraid of, it is crashing you should fear'. and the main news was Doug Ellis's triple heart bypass operation: Full VT: The Villa Times 14/06/05

And here you go, one that I am SO glad is all done and dusted, just one of the many old protest articles/statements. It appears that once again turmoil reigns at Villa Park just at the stage when the club should be concentrating on bringing in top signings – as opposed to publicly announcing agreed terms before they have been agreed. Full article:
VFC Statement - Shambles

And I'd forgotten about this one. I'd done an interview with the official Manchester United site only for a certain club chairman to object and get it taken down! No, seriously! I remember speaking with the official site guy who interviewed me, they thought it hilarious they'd had to remove it due to words from above!

Well, I did an interview for the second year running with Man Utd .com the official site. I was asked questions and answered them to the best of my ability, I did it tongue in cheek because I don't think football should be taken 'that' seriously. 6 hours later the interview was pulled. Why? Someone at our club wasn't impressed and asked for it to be removed. Can you see anything below that should cause such a reaction? Have you not seen anything worse on the net? Full rant: Censorship

So there you have it, the first of maybe many and maybe no more at all, Vital Villa archives!

Just Read the united interview fear.......classy... i think i know why they pulled it though.......when asked for the title predictions you didnt say they'd win it .....or it could have been the Rooney remark..... or it could have been the Djemba remark...... :)

Agree entirely Ian .Its hard to beleive how much things have been turned around in a relatively short period of time.
