John Carew, Carew, Needs Another Vote Or Two!!!

John Carew, you won't be surprised to hear, is up for the FA Cup 'E.ON Player of the Round' award after he ripped Reading apart in the second half of the 1/4 final.

You can do your bit and vote for him!

Spurs keeper Heurelho Gomes, Portsmouth striker Frederic Piquionne, Chelsea defender Alex and Reading striker Shane Long are the other names in contention.

Tremendous second half showing by the lads in general, and John Carew in particular. Here's hoping that he can show the same amount of effort and determination from here on in, through to the end of the campaign. We certainly need the goal threat he can offer, we need him up for each and every game. Such a talented centre-forward, on his day arguably one of the very best in the premiership, but sadly, all too often, he fails to show either when we need him, or on a consistent basis.
