Poll Results - What To Do With John Carew!

Poll Results - What To Do With John Carew!

Seems to have been a bit of a shift in the What would you do with Carew? stakes.

See previous article for older poll results: John Carew Looking To Exit Villa Park?

The results from our latest poll (04 Mar 2010) had 44% saying they'd sell the Norwegian international in the summer for 'whatever'.

24% still want him to stay and voted to extend his contract.

That left 19% voting that it would be worth selling him if he would go for £10 million or more and a further 13% happy to see him stay one more season and run down his contract.

I wouldn't consider selling JC to an English club. He plays amazingly well for the first year or so after he moves - can you imagine what it would be like to play against an on-fire JC?

I wouldn't want to sell him, i'd start him over Heskey every week. I'm not saying he's been brilliant this season because he hasn't but he does have the odd run at defenders (which Heskey doesn't) and he is far better in the air (which Heskey isn't). And he doesn't go to ground everytime somebody brushes him.
