Who Would You Like To Face In FA Cup?

Who Would You Like To Face In FA Cup?

Our latest poll asks who you would most like to face at Wembley in the FA Cup final (if we get there obviously!)

I have had this conversation with a couple of blue nose neighbours, one thinks a local derby for an FA Cup final would be great the other agrees with me, it would be too much to control, too stressful and there would be all sorts of 'incidents' going down, at the ground and going home.

I personally think it would be a nightmare and can you imagine if the unthinkable happened? You'd never live it down!

No, I'll take an easier option if you don't mind, I'll take Chelsea and get revenge for our no show in 2000! Or any of them to be honest!

Yes, I know we have to get there ourselves first, I'm not being arrogant, just wondering when.. sorry, if (!!) who would you like to face?!

What are your predictions for the semi's as well? Who is going through, who is going out?

I don't like this one bit, lots of people talking about how they are gonna get to wembley, how many goals we will beat Reading by, very nervous about this game, we are massive favourites however have just been beaten in the biggest game in 10 years and have never won a game in March under the current manager, very very nervous. Hopefully the players will bounce back and beat Reading and we will be off to Wembley again, but lets not count our chickens (I understand the article says 'if we get there' but I think we are possibly setting ourselves up for a fall).

not at all YJ, I make it clear 'if' (as you acknowledge) this is just called football debate mate, wanting a talking point and to start moving away from the Carling Cup. IF we get there, who do you fancy, am I alone in not wanting Blues, would you like Chelsea to get 'revenge' for our awful no show, an 'easier' team etc. Not saying we are going to get there, just what IF. That is what football is about, the dreams and aspirations.

Despite what I said, I have gone for Pompey, I want us to win and they are our best chance. Though it would be lovely to beat Chelsea on the 10th anniversary of our loss to them in this very competition, I would prefer a slightly easier test.

Pompey would be a good one because they also need the cash injection. Got a feeling they might start doing better now as the pressure is off them, they are going down etc so it might settle the players nerves (if that makes sense)
