Idiot Ref Gets Wembley Man Of Match

Vital Villa asked a few questions leading up to and just after the Carling Cup Final.

The first was your prediction for the game. We got it wrong basically! Well, most of us did, 12% said lose, doesn't matter what the rest of us said now does it?!

We also asked, in a poll suggested by Nerrad Villa, who would you start. It was 50/50 between Carew and Heskey.

carew

As you know, it was Heskey who got the nod.

Heskey tackling

The most important was your man of the match vote, put up by Fieldy under the alias Same Old ****, Helped By The Ref !

Well, no shock who won it.

Idiot: Phil Dowd 47%

Gabby Agbonlahor came next with 16%

gabby run with ball

And James Milner with 14%

our lord james milner carling

The rest

Petrov 6%
Friedel 5%
A. Young 3%
Heskey 2%
Downing 2%
Cuellar 1%
Dunne 1%
Collins 1%
Warnock 1%
Martin O'Neill 1%
Sub: Carew 0%

thought I'd use that image to show Dowd what the thing he forgot to use looked like! Agree that Gabby was good especially in the first half (although like all the strikers, not many shots?) but thought Milner was outstanding myself.
