Milner Disappointed, But Not Down

James Milner is obviously 'massively disappointed' following the Carling Cup loss last weekend, but he's pleased he can fall back on the England game and keep going.

Speaking on the Official Site today Milner has said that he's pleased and relieved that he's able to concentrate on the England clash following our Cup disappointment, especially as it's expected that he will start the match - albeit in the ridiculous left back position.

'I am massively disappointed about the Carling Cup but we have a game so I can focus straight away.'

With the TerryBridge scandal 99% of the country expects Milly to start at left back, and although it's obviously not his favourite position, if selected he'd be happy enough to fill the gap.

'I have had experience at left back so that is a good start. I am happy to play anywhere and will do the best job possible if the manager asked me.'

It is probably the best possible timing for Milner, let him get back into the groove and away from the disappointment for a bit, so he comes back refreshed and raring to go.

Reading could well be an interesting game, it'll be good to see how they all react.

Think this will strengthen and galvanise them, they'll want Wembley again and with a different result. Very confident!
