Apart from the two penalties, i thought he was pretty much anonymous, the usual JC. I would have put James or Ashley ahead of JC.

I have to agree with our good friend Gruck. I thought that Ashley continued his recent improved run of form, and that comes just in time for Sunday's final, the F.A. Cup quarter-final the following weekend, and of course the premiership run in. He looks really up for the task again, and that has to be good news. I thought also that young Delph last night also looked impressive, certainly until he tired. He has a tremendous future ahead of him. Still has lots to learn, but the potential is very definitely there. John Carew as 'Man of the Match'. On the strength of his two goals, even though they were both spot-kicks, I guess I can live with that.

If Big John cant raise his game for a cup final, then he never will, I say play him sunday if we're winning bring Heskey on later in the game. Carew can be our match winner Sunday.
