I don't understand this one ticket per client reference. They said the same about last night's game, but when I asked at the ticket office I was told I could have 6.

Quite simple Mikey D. When a game is likely to have a surplus of tickets (like last night) then they want to make as many available as possible to fans with a client reference. When the demand is going to outstrip supply, as is likely with the Reading game, then there is just one per client reference. This is to ensure the fans who go the most get the first refusal of tickets.
