Yes that's right I'm typing this in my pants. Cup Final News, Reserves, and Palace injury update is short, easy to read paragraphs.

Villa have SOLD OUT of tickets for the Carling Cup Final against Manchester United. The club have thanked fans for their patience and co-operation during the sales windows for tickets and reminds fans that those without a ticket can experience the match at Villa Park should they wish.

In second string news, the fixture against Stoke City that was meant to take place on Tuesday (that's today isn't it) at Hinckley has been called off because of a frozen pitch. We will now play the Potters on April 15 with a 7pm kick off.

In first string news, doesn't sound right does it. In first team rotational hints, Stiliyan Petrov is a doubt tomorrow, but not over his knackered ankle/achilles/enter all his knocks this season - he's picked up a virus and was sent home from training today.

Gabby requires a late fitness test but is 'keen to play'. That's about your lot, but I suppose I better give you a quote so you don't think I'm making this up:

Monny said:

'The immediate concern would be Petrov who is feeling pretty unwell and has been for a couple of days now.'

Adding that if the game was tonight he'd be struggling and would be a major doubt, but with some chicken soup, a Horlicks, a hot water bottle and box of tissues he may have a chance tomorrow.
