Villa Won't Underestimate Palace

Villa Won't Underestimate Palace

Burnley hero Stewart Downing has said Villa will not be underestimating Palace given how they performed in our last encounter.

Speaking on the Official Site ahead of the Palace replay, Downing understands that the pressure will be on us to pull out the win given the home advantage, but he doesn't believe this game will be any easier than the previous one.

'We've seen how tough it was at Palace and we are lucky to still be in the tie because it was a late goal.'

Our two goal hero will be on a high himself, but believes Palace will come with a 'nothing to lose' attitude after being galvanised by their off pitch problems.

The first game was a cracker, (albeit fully frustrating) if this match lives up to half that expectation I might not have any hair left.

All about getting an early goal for me, if we can score in the 1st 20 mins it will all be fine.
