Can't wait till next season - i know that's premature but I think our midfield is going to click even better next season!

agreed koolbill, good young mix in there, they can only get better I think. Same as you footyfans, thought Downing would walk it!

I think that over the course of the past few games, Ashley has looked more like his old self again. The arrogance, the swagger is returning, not so much of the hunched shoulders and the complaining to referee's. He was my man of the match against Burnley, just shading it ahead of Stewart Downing, who despite criticism from some quarters, continues to impress me. I never really appreciated his qualities when he was at Middlesbrough, but now, watching him first hand, I can see why he is so highly rated by both club and international managers.

Cannot believe that someone voted for Sidwell - he always seems to be a non entity when on the field - may as well play with 10.

I think Ash has had a word with himself and got his head down. He is approaching his form of early last season and his workrate is up there with James Milner!!
