sidenote - our game in hand is away at wigan, ja? we really must take advantage here. although I imagine we will rack up a couple more in hand with the prospect of two cup finals *touch much wood* we usually choke when we have it in our own hands though, so I'm not entirely sure it will be an advantage to us.

BURNLEY (H) - SUNDERLAND (H) - STOKE (A) - WIGAN (A) - WOLVES (H) - CHELSEA (A) - BOLTON (A) - EVERTON (H) - PORSTMOUTH (A) - BIRMINGHAM (H) - MAN CITY (A) - BLACKBURN (H)...... I see this as a much more comfortable run-in than those of our rivals. in saying that, many of these teams will be very hungry for points. On our day, I could see us getting something out of every game here. Although the tough ones will clearly come away at stoke, chelsea and man city. COME ON YOU VILLA BOYS!

Birmingham will be a tought one, but on paper theyres 11 wins there! but we're Villa we'll do it the tought way, althought we're yet to really have a proper decent run in the league this year, this could be the one we need!

Cant really argue against Stan being named as our Man of the Match, although personally I thought that young Fabian probably just shaded it, with Stan the runner up. Good to see Stewart Downing pick up some votes too. I think the guy is turning in some decent showings, and if we only had a decent penalty box predator to latch on to the end of some of these superb balls he directs into the opposition penalty area, then I really believe we'd be singing Downing's praises long and loud.
