Ryan Giggs, who fractured his arm in a tackle last night v Villa, (a bad tackle it was to), is out for a month and will miss the Carling Cup Final. Nani who was sent off will also miss the game as he'll get a 3 match ban.

Gabby Agbonlahor picked up an injury (sore leg) and might be a doubt for the weekend's game against Palace in the FA Cup. Stiliyan Petrov will also need to be assessed as he has injured his ankle (in the tackle by Nani).

Fieldy: Alex Ferguson can't stop gushing praise over Villa lately, well if that's what you call it considering I didn't earlier. But on this one, I can't find fault and the great thing is Milly is grounded enough to not get carried away so any mind games won't work at any rate ha ha! Sir Alex of Chewalot is now quoted on the Official Site pouring out his love for our Millyman saying what a great asset he is to the Villa owing to his ability to perform in any number of positions across midfield. Full article: Fergie's On A Roll It's Milly Time

Fieldy: Martin O'Neill has admitted that whilst Richard Dunne is hugely influential on the pitch, he's the quiet man of the camp off it. Speaking on the Official Site O'Neill says that Dunne has definitely let his actions speak louder than words. Full details: Richard Dunne With Shouting Off The Pitch

We had similar not so long back but the Official Site has more quotes from former Holte End hero Dwight Yorke asking for forgiveness and to remember the good times! Yorke, still selling his book I assume, said 'I've said you've got to earn the right for the Villa fans to appreciate you and over the years I think I've done that. The fans made me one of their favourites because of my performance on the football pitch and my relationship with them.' Adding 'The Holte End was very special, when you've scored and you hear the celebration and they are singing your name it's amazing.'
