He Who Walks On Water Impressed With Villa

Our Lord, he who walks on water, Brian Little has been speaking with www.avfc.co.uk and he says it is great to see that Villa have once again cemented their place in the top six or seven in the Premiership.

'You have Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool of course but then there's the Manchester City, Spurs and Villa now very much in among that ruck. Everton will always be there or thereabouts too.' Adding, 'Looking at Villa as a top seven club is great because prior to Martin arriving - in the two, three, four years before - there were lean times and it looked difficult. But it's great to see the club now. It's fantastic to arrive at the club and see the magnificent stadium and to watch them play and see how competitive they have become again. That's great to see.'

He also says what a 'marvelous achievement' it is to get to the League Cup final, one which he has such fond memories of himself obviously.

Finishing 'I am just impressed with the whole set-up.'

Brian Little's a hero. I was lucky to see him manage the club, i wish id seen him play. Compare and contrast with Dwight 'man u badge kisser' Yorke.

I met Brian Little as well once. It was back in 1970 when I convinced him to sign for Aston Villa.

Sadly was poor manager at Wrexham - maybe he was just on a different level to the players and is someone who can only really deal at the top level.
