Non Season Ticket Holder Final Ticket News

Ok, so here it is, those who don't hold season tickets will now from February 15th get a shot of grabbing a Carling Cup final ticket.

They go on Priority sale with the following credentials needed:

Monday February 15: 12+ home booking history (including either Carling Cup fixture at home to Cardiff City or Blackburn Rovers). 2009-10 season only

Tuesday February 16: 10+ home booking history (including either Carling Cup fixture at home to Cardiff City or Blackburn Rovers). 2009-10 season only

Wednesday February 17: 7+ home booking history (including either Carling Cup fixture at home to Cardiff City or Blackburn Rovers). 2009-10 season only

The club also remind fans As previously stated by the club, it is essential that you register and use only ONE client reference account whenever you purchase tickets from Aston Villa, whether online or via the Ticket Office, as this gives you the ability to build-up your booking history. Using multiple accounts or not assigning individual client references to all tickets purchased means you may not be eligible to purchase the tickets you really want.

You can login on the official site and check your booking history.

Season ticket holders who still haven't bought there seats must do so by Friday.

There will also be a draw if you register your interest (to be announced on the official site in due course) for fifty tickets for those who don't match the above criteria.

Slightly concerned at the offer that was on the official site about the "50 pairs" of tickets they are putting out as a special draw giving supporters with a booking history that don't meet the criteria to get a ticket the chance to still buy a "pair" of tickets. I am all for the club doing prize draws etc. but this is giving someone who hasnt done as much as some when following the club to get 2 tickets for the final when season ticket holders are only entitled to 1 ticket for the game. Thought it slightly odd

agree WH, they still need a booking history but don't really see the point of this, if it leaves 50 with better booking histories not going? Unless it is assessed on worthiness as opposed to a draw (ie some abroad fans who can only come over 2-3 times a season but still make huge financial outlay to support their club)

they need to look at this as it has been a proper cock up
