Arry And MON Expecting Great Spurs v Villa Game

Appy Arry has been telling the Spurs official site he expects a great game and says Martin O'Neill has 'built a great team there and I think it will be an exciting game with both teams having a real go and looking to win.' He calls Villa 'an open, attacking, exciting team with pace in wide positions and through the middle.'

He also says MON strengthened well in the summer and calls us 'strong'.

Meanwhile MON has told the official site that the team are fine with the pressure and enjoying riding high and with the games coming thick and fast.

On the pressure he says 'It's there all the time. It's relentless. It never goes away. But I have to say, on the plus side, that's really what you set out to be involved in. At this stage of the season, it's great that we have things to look forward to. All that can evaporate in a week or 10 days of course but at the moment it's great.'

On Spurs he says 'Tottenham are a very fine footballing side and they have got good strength and depth now. Perhaps maybe they have been lacking that for some time but they have that now and they are a really fine side.'

The Villa boss also says we have to keep things on the up after our away win at Fulham and says the test v Spurs this evening (5:30pm kick off) is a big one.

Yeah cos apart from that we've been ***** right? Ahhh the banter.... I wonder if Gabby will slot into right back position as he did last time we played you, with Ashley pinned on the opposite flank by Lennon (who luckily for you is missing today).
