Lawro & Mystic Mug - Villa Win + Match Build Up

Lawro, hot on the heels of a correct draw prediction v Arsenal (the game was 0-0, he said 1-1) is saying an away win for Villa against Fulham this weekend.

The BBC pundit has backed Villa to win 2-1 saying: 'Fulham have struggled on the road all season, winning only one game, but they have obviously been solid at home.'

Adding, 'But they have just hit a bit of a rocky patch, and Villa got a good point at home against Arsenal in midweek, so I'm going for a rare home defeat for Fulham.'

Match preview on BBC site: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1

The BBC have another Villa related article, this time by Jonathan Pearce on MON and his intensity as a manager: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1

Mystic Mug also says a Villa win, first at Craven Cottage in the Prem since Feb 2004 so I've been told today? Mug says 1-0 will do with 3 points brought home from the Capital.

If you aren't at the game tomorrow (and we have the return of Glensider's away match reports to look forward to!) then feel to join us in the Fulham v Villa forum thread: Click Here

Recent performances at Craven Cottage have left a lot to be desired, but hopefully we can get our act together tomorrow and hand the hosts their fifth successive premier league reversal. Wont be easy though, after all there is that little matter of us having to score goals, so lets not get excited just yet. Hooray for the return of glensiders away-day reports, that guy is the real deal. See's the games exactly as I do.

glensider, it's not just Craven Cottage - it's London. Not a happy hunting ground for us. That's about to change anyway, let's make it tomorrow. I look forward to your report. UTV

andy5759, I shall dedicate my match report to your goodself, so please make sure you read it, and comment upon it in the positive. As I told Jonathan earlier, as Martin does not allow me in the dressing room pre-game to deliver a rallying call to the lads, I cant guarantee you that I'll be reporting on a Villa victory, but rest assured, thanks to my vocal encouragement from behind the goal, the lads will be left as in no doubt as to what I/we expect from them.

lovely professional performance, gabby's 1st goal was good from a great Downing cross, his second was sublime, you have to watch match of the day for that! Luke young also very close with a magnificent attempted header from an awful angle.
