Want To Lose Pounds Whilst Acorns Gain Some?

Right... here we go!

Are you looking to lose weight?

Well, we've had a thread in off topic over the years (the great weight loss thread! LOL) but now Sir Steff of Gym (Steff_The_Villan who runs a successful gym in Wales) has put 2+2 together and suggests for those who want to lose weight, to put more pressure on yourself and in an attempt to keep you motivated, get the weight loss sponsored in aid of our Vital Villa Acorns 450 Challenge.

Thread in Off Topic: Click Here

(Both forum threads have adult content and banter in)

Sounds perfect to me.

It doesn't need to be complicated, Steff, with the help of Acorns approval for the use of their logo, has designed the sponsorship forms, all you need to do is print them off and there you go.

So:

1) Email: astonvilla@vitalfootball.co.uk and I'll send you a form.

2) Print it off.

3) Weight yourself and note it on the form OR take a body fat reading if you prefer, whichever works for you.

4) Then ask friends, family etc to sponsor you (you can put limits on!)

You can choose when your start and then we'll have the first day of next season as our cut off point (and if some want to extend it to the end of the year, fine)

This really can be very flexible and Acorns gain pounds as you shed them!

You don't need to be a member of the site but I guess it would help if you did post in the off topic thread + it might keep you more motivated.

With thanks to steff_the_villan for getting this off the ground.

If anyone wants to sponsor me, feel free! Doesn't have to be a fortune, I'll not be losing more than 12 lbs I'd not think (if that, all depends on the brain aches with me!)
