According to www.mirrorfootball.co.uk Villa have accepted a bid from Sunderland for Habib Beye who joined us in the summer from Newcastle United.

The report claims he former Magpie is talking terms.

Meanwhile, Mackams boss Steve Bruce has complimented Aston Villa in the way we have built the team slowly but surely.

'I’m still hopeful but I won’t just panic buy. I’m here for the long-term I hope and I want to make sure I build a proper team and a proper squad. Seems a bit silly to be selling him, he's the back-up. As soon as theres an injury, we're all be complaining again with lack of back-up! ruddy paper talk.
