Gardner's Blue Nose Dream Come True!!

Well, difficult to say when a player moves to the Blues... but good luck (sort of!) to Craig Gardner.

The deal is done and dusted and I think rightly so, he was never going to make our first 11 evidently, he was close but no cigar so best to move on and get his career back on track.

The official site said that the midfielder has signed a four and a half year deal with Blues.
He has, in a Birmingham Mail interview, also admitted he is a blues fan, so there you go:

'People say when you become a footballer it’s a dream come true but when you sign for the club you support, what more can you ask for? You just pinch yourself. I don’t think I’ve had more than three hours sleep this week. I’ve been on to my agent all the time asking ‘is it done, is it done’? and in the end he just told me to relax.'

Adding, 'I just can’t wait to put that blue and white shirt on, score some goals and help Birmingham City pick up points. There’s pressure on me. They’ve invested money in me and I’ve got to respond.'
