As I said on the other article, I think he will go for Guzan, but I would play Friedel. Guzan has tremendous potential but there have been enough incidents this season where you can point to and say, "So that is why Friedel will play in the final". There is a place in Europe at stake after all. Not that I wouldn't rather get in the Champions League to at least guarantee the Europa League at this point would be brilliant.

Sheriff, I wasn't aware of MON prioritising the Europa League. 1st season, thrown away, 2nd season knocked out in the early stages, what makes you think it'll be any different next season. MON may well want a cup but I get the impression that, apart from experience (that he may rather not have due to the extra strains on the squad) he's really not that interested in this competition. MON wants to win the Cup because it's a cup not because it's a way into Europa.

If we are to win any silverware ... to hell with sentement ... it has to be Brad Senior... Guzan will have other chances... the risk is to high to risk him and it would ruin his career if we fail because of one mistake from him
