Shore He'll Stay at Forest?

Nottingham Forest have admitted that they are in discussions with Villa over extending Nicky Shorey's loan spell.

In an article on the Forest Official Site billy Davies admitted that a conversation was on going with the club as Shorey's current loan ends this Thursday.

'We thank them very much for loaning us Nicky, and we'll see where the conversation goes.'

Shorey has done well by rights since joining them on loan a few short weeks ago, making 9 appearances but unfortunately getting himself a straight red in the last match against Reading, which means he misses their clash tonight against QPR.

I can't see any real reason why his loan won't be extended, I doubt a fee will be involved so he'll be able to be recalled if we really need him.

Far better for us and Shorey's own future for him to be playing regular first team footy as opposed to reserve stuff at any rate.
