Rotation For BHA

Martin O'Neill has admitted he will rotate the squad for todays FA Cup clash against Brighton and Hove Albion.

Speaking on the Official Site ahead of the clash Monny said he would ring changes, but he fully expects the team 'to rise to the occasion' regardless.

'We will make a couple of changes, it might make it more difficult for us, but I think we can rise to the occasion.'

The biggest hint on the squad comes when he talks about the youngsters who did so well in the pre season Peace Cup, so I would hope at least to see Clark, Delfouneso, Delph and Albrighton start the match this time.

O'Neill also comments on the fringe players who are permanently 'gagging to go' so expect the likes of Luke Young to finally get his spot back, although probably on the left as you'd expect Beye to play aswell and Steve Sidwell will no doubt get a run out.

We do have a few injury concerns though, Reo-Coker is still struggling with his ankle injury, Carew has continuing knee problems and to add to the list we have Heskey (foot), Dunne (hamstring) and Petrov (achilles).

All are expected to undergo late fitness tests prior to the squad being announced.

I hope he doesn't rotate them too far, otherwise they'll be facing the wrong direction!

If we haven't got enough of a squad to rotate and turn over Brighton then there really is issues. Can't see it being a concern as long as we come straight out the blocks instead of 30mins in. I think he should play as many 1st teamers as possible. I'd take F.A Cup & League cup over 4th in a heartbeat.
