Gardner To Sing The Blues As Terms Agreed?

Sky Sports are claiming that Villa and Blues have agreed a fee for Villa utility player Craig Gardner.

He'll apparently talk terms and have a medical next week.

If this is right - no official confirmation yet - then it would make sense, he needs first team football and Villa obviously can't offer him that. Difficult to say good luck when moving to our local rivals but... well, good luck!

always thought he was ok player but just didnt make that final step up, and with Milner now being touted as Englands newest star he will never push his way in. Good luck in the vile end of Birmingham and please dont come back to haunt us in April........

With respect to Craig, McLeish's transfer window must have hit some rocky ground if he has slipped this far down his list, assuming some of the names mentioned were genuine targets.
