Villa LEGEND Says Support Crucial Wednesday

Villa legend Martin Laursen says get down to Villa Park on Wednesday night, so say no more, get down to Villa Park on Wednesday night... ok?!

Carling Cup semi-final second leg

Come on, has to be a sell out surely?!

Laursen, now working for Danish tv and telling anyone who will listen that Villa is his team and the first and only results he looks out for told our official site:

'You say it so many times and I know it's mentioned a lot but it is so, so true. I can't stress it enough - especially as someone who experienced Villa Park on those amazing nights to remember. It's so, so important. If you play in a stadium where you can hear nothing you don't give as much as when the fans are really up for it - happy and cheering. Then you give more - much more. It's vital to have the fans behind you because I am sure - 100 per cent certain - that you give more. You use more energy than if the fans are saying nothing and being quiet.'

On the last big cup occasion:

'That Ajax game was amazing - the noise was incredible. The great thing is I scored early. It was such a good feeling. It was so, so special. It had been so many years since Villa had had a proper European night and to be captain too and score was great for me and the team and a great feeling.'

General Krulak said in his thread in the forum having been asked about the ticket sales:

Here is the status of the Blackburn tickets: 37,803 sold as of today...with 2k estimated away fans. The away fans will be located in the North Stand upper only. Upper P Block will be released today for HOME fans. We sold 742 tickets yesterday. We expect about 40k at the game. There are tickets available...the more that come, the better.

We can get a sell out can't we? Roar the lads on to Wembley? They need us this time, they've done their bit, we can do the rest?

It'll be a disgrace if we dont fill the ground for a semi-final...the buzz I got from the build up to the first leg last week was great & the game & atmosphere in the away end was immense...If you cant enjoy a semi final at home then I'm not sure there'll be many other games you will enjoy...we have been desperate for nights like these, so please Villa fans turn up & help send us through to wembley...cause that will be a fantastic day....jeez im gettin goose bumps just thinkin about it!!!!
