James Nursey at The Mirror says MON has told 'unsettled' 18-year-old midfielder that he can't go out on loan after links to Cardiff City made the press today. MON wants the former Leeds United player to continue his progress at Villa.

MON has told Sky Sports that winning silverware is crucial to a club the size of Villa. 'I think for the football club it is very, very important to (win trophies). It's a semi-final, it's completely different to preparing for a final and we are well short of that at the moment.'

James Milner is apparently a major doubt for tomorrow nights clash at Ewood Park.

Fieldy: Not a great surprise really given the fact he plays upfront, but Delfouneso has admitted today that he always dreamed of scoring goals in the prestigious tournament. This is probably the 'well obviously' article of the day. Delboy Dreamed Of FA Cup Goal

Fieldy: Ashley Young felt he has a point to prove in our match against Blackburn after missing out on the Liverpool defeat. After picking up another yellow card, we all knew Young would sit out the Liverpool clash and being fair to him he hasn't been firing on all cylinders so far this season, so to come back and put in the performance he did against Blackburn was very well received. Have you grown bored of naming players now JF? The Leeds mention was obvious by the way, make it harder if you're gonna make us guess :)
