Andreas Weimann has today signed a contract extension keeping him at the club until 2012. Kind of what the headline said really eh.
The Austrian striker has gone from strength to strength this season, topping the reserves scoring charts with a tally of 5 goals as the stiffs go for yet another Reserve League title.
This obviously comes after his Peace Cup introduction, a sub against Porto and Atlante, and a start against Juventus (losers!) which has effectively made him a household name (of our next generation) amongst fans.
The best highlight of the rest, is when he grabbed two at St Andrews against the Blues...never hurts when ingratiating yourself with the fans does it.
Hopefully we'll hear from the little man himself shortly, but he's already established he knows where the net is so it'll be interesting to follow his development as the season goes on.![]()
