Actim Rating Villa Players Highly

Some love stats, some don't, some will judge a player on one pass going astray, some will judge their overall performance

Actim along with OPTA use a multi point system covering every aspect of a players performance and have stood the test of time.

GOALKEEPERS

2nd: Brad Friedel

DEFENDERS

1st: Carlos Cuellar
2nd: Richard Dunne

MIDFIELD

3rd: Ashley Young
4th: James Milner

STRIKERS

3rd: Gabby Agbonlahor

The team of the season contains four Villa players, when you take into account the other places are taken up by three Chelski, two Arsenal, one Man U and one Spuds player, that is a very positive result.

Remarkable personal achievements, and I do like a good stat but the only one that really matters is league position at the end of the day. Would be interesting to see how their point scoring system works though.
