Half Term Results - MotM Winners / Losers So Far

Well, thought it time to have a look at who has won the most man of the match polls in the league so far this season as well as who has been in the dog house the most!

Most Popular:

James Milner came out with the most man of the match wins with three wins, one of which was the largest percentage of all players (75% v Hull) and also came second in the Wolves one which had a 'no one' as the most popular option.

Richard Dunne was next up with an equal 3 man of the matches, one being the lowest percentage winner yet (v Man Utd where votes were nicely spread) at 29%

(As said, the most is awarded to Milner because he had a much larger share of the vote with 35%, 75% and 60% compared to Dunne with 38%, 55% and 29% + Milner was the first player mentioned following 'no one' v Wolves)

James Collins, Carlos Cuellar and Nigel Hokey-Cokey all came next with two man of the match wins each.

Gabby, Friedel, Carew, Heskey, Luke Young and Clark all got one man of the match result and two games were voted as no one (Wolves and West Ham)

Least Popular:

John Carew was bottom of the pile four times, 1 for a sub appearance.

Ashley Young was bottom on three occassions and Cuellar, Heskey, Sidwell and Petrov all shared the 'honour' two times. Not sure how many of those were for sub appearances, we'll try to remember to change the poll style in future to note subs and maybe leave off anyone only on for 10 odd mins or less.

Interesting Carew was the lowest. I know he hasn't been performing but he did have that 'cult status' thing going for him. Is he losing that now???? Hmmm.

yeah, someone has to praise FootyFans, if it is only me, so be it! lol

I forget now who suggested I compiled all the MotM votes, hadn't really thought to do it before, so good idea me thinks

Thing with JC is that people including our very own MON know what a great player he is on his day and also most (?) / many have sussed how often he goes missing or gets knocked off the ball so easily etc. Total enigma, shame because he should be a great. For me (and only my humble opinion!) the best thing about JC is his song.
