What Do We Need Most In Transfer Window?
Vital Villa asked for your man of the match votes for the home game against Liverpool.
Nigel Hokey-Cokey won with 40% followed by a mystifyingly 18% for Steve Sidwell. Some sort of protest vote for the latter maybe as he came on latish as a sub. Not sure what the point being made as mind you.

The thing we need most is a manager who knows how to operate in the transfer window and is not afraid of a big name player IF (and it's a big if) we have the need, funds and possibility of signing one.

We need a top quality world class creative ball playing central midfielder - in the class of Gerrard and Lampard. Rafael Ferdinand van der Vaart..... could we get him on loan with a view to a permement deal? Lets face it... To finish in the top 4 is going to require at least 2 or 3 world class players. We don't have those players yet although we have younger players that can develop into one. We also need a top quality striker but I think we should priorities creating chances and ball possesion first. Klaas Jan Huntelaar and Rafael Ferdinand van der Vaart would make for a very hope new year... only £30-40m

I like Reo Coker but he would be a much better player if he passed the ball occasionally .. he's good at keeping possession but sooner or later you got to pass it to someone .
