'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Lawro Says Villa Loss, Mystic Mug Says Win

Well, Lawro is backing Arsenal to beat Villa 1-0 this time around having got the last few predictions correct.

The BBC pundit said: 'Blimey Fear, what are you doing articles for at this time on Christmas Eve, don't you realise no one will read them.'

Oh no, sorry, that was my alter ego, the de-moustached one said:

'This will be a sterner test for Arsenal that their previous home game against Hull, which the Gunners won 3-0. The contest will be all about Arsenal's passing, movement and midfield control versus Villa's counter-attacking football and cutting edge in attack. Villa are certainly quick and direct on the break. I think this will be something of a cat and mouse game, with Villa sitting back and looking to hit them on the break.'

would take a draw but if we could just push our luck and dream of a win v this lot and a home win v Liverpool, we'll be in 7th heaven, well 3rd heaven but you get my drift!

i don't get why we should settle for a draw after beating the other 3, but i do.. lol. suppose, given the fact that it's villa, we should be happy with a point though or prepare for a defeat followed by a dreadful run. i don't know? think this season's team is different.. an unbeaten grand slam! 3 points really would taste so sweet. sod it - 2 - 0 villa! cuellar and a young.

Southport 0 Cods 2, followed by big win over Vauxhall Motors. Villa matches to scary to predict, but 4 points would take from 2 games please. Both will be very tough games and one win would still be a reasonable return - better than 2 draws.

Arsenal have alot of injuries to key players up front. Can't see it being high dcoring. Would take a draw.

We CAN win this. Let's get all 4 "Top Four" scalps to really show our Champions League credentials. Having said that I will be happy with a draw but MUCH happier with the win. ;)

Lawro needs to start thinking with his head and not with his arse, Villa on paper would be well worth a punt for a draw against the Arsenal away.
