Best Villa Captain Since PL Start?

Best Villa Captain Since PL Start?

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by gmvillan,

Villa's best captain since the inception of Premier League?

Must admit, I totally agree with the result as well, he was a top man as well!

Move forward Mr Andy Townsend with 46% of the vote.

forum

I will try to text / contact him to let him know these results, might be an old number I have though so might not work!

Other results:

The man with the great moustache, Kevin Richardson 12%

The bearded wonder, Olof Mellberg 10%

He who was a legend and then faded (!) Gareth Barry 9%

Next up former Villa and England defender, Gareth Southgate 7%

Magic man Paul Merson 6%

Current captain Stiliyan Petrov 6%

And tough defender Steve Staunton 4%

So there you blinking well go!

i voted for rico but it was a toss up between him and townsend, just though rico got more out of less talent and was always one of my favourites
